Boston Scientific and Google are excited to announce their newest innovation challenge: The Boston Scientific Connected Patient Challenge.
The Challenge is an open call to any individual, team, or company with ideas on how to improve patient outcomes, increase efficiency in delivering care, and drive down the cost of care through the use of big data or data analytics. The scope for this challenge includes data collection, linking/combining cross industry data sources, analytics, machine learning, and identifying and closing data-driven knowledge gaps to build new capability in healthcare and to create new treatment paradigms.
You do not need to be a informatician or analytics expert to enter. We welcome all types of submissions, including idea stage, early prototypes, released products, and academic research.
Finalists will be honored at a live event at Google’s Cambridge Headquarters on March 9th, where they will present their ideas to a panel of celebrity judges, challenge sponsors, and fellow participants. Up to $50,000 of services in kind will be divided among Challenge winners to further develop or pilot their ideas.
The submission deadline is January 7th, 2017, but the earlier you submit, the more feedback you will receive from our panel of expert judges. Click here to learn more.
