GlycoBAR is a start-up using its cell factories to produces antigens to eliminate blood group antibodies.
GlycoBAR products are used by customers in the medical device or pharmaceutical fields to:
– produce universal plasma & platelets used in transfusions
– allow organ transplantation between ABO incompatible people
– secure and create new products on the IVIG market.
The products are already very successful since one of GlycoBAR’s customers has already obtained its CE marking and several international players are in development or even in clinical studies.
GlycoBAR has moved from the laboratory scale to a first scale-up*3 and now has an industrial demonstrator (scale-up*10) to meet the needs of its customers.
